Note this site requires a user name and password. The user name is the name of the school (the two words joined together) all lower case and the password is the first name of Alex's teacher.

Note the initial images may appear as though they are not that clear. This is due to the images being "crunched" to fit on the page. The "original" image is quite ok if you drill down to it by progressively clicking on the desired image. On the "second stage" image, click on the image in the middle bottom to get to the "original" image. Clicking on the middle top gets you back to the start or the home page. Get it ?? .... :)

Lameroo Centenary ...

My home town of Lameroo held part of its centenary this weekend. A huge turn out of locals and vistors alike. Considering the desperate and record drought, the locals put on a ripper of a weekend. I will have all the shots from the soccer grand final up asap. At the moment where I archive my photos is down for maintenance ... bugger !!

Here is a sample though. Throughout this season I have been impressed by the lad (no 5) for Klemzig (Blue top). As can be seen here he is very keen and has plenty of determination.

Stunningly beautiful birds that are a riot of colour especially when they are in flight. This picture does not show the sheer, dazzling brilliance of their blue wings.
I'm very priviledged to have them frequent my backyard feeding, oddly enough on an exotic "Plane Tree".

Taken HANDHELD with a Nikkor 70-200 VR plus 1.7 conv i.e 510mm 35mm equiv. These images range from 1/250th sec down to (believe it or not) 1/80th taken in late afternoon. All I gotta do now is pay back the bank.

Claire's 3rd Netball match where she had a go at Goal Shooter. It seemed to work. She shot 8 goals in the win of 12 - 2. A proud Dad indeeed :)
